Lake of the Woods

With over 14,500 islands and 64,000 miles of shoreline Lake of the Woods is one of the best natural fisheries in the world. The scenic sheltered island area surrounding our resort offers great fishing opportunities in the beautiful waters of both Minnesota and Ontario. A variety of fishing structure including rocky points and shorelines, sandy bays, weed beds and reefs provide excellent all season angling excitement for walleye, muskie, smallmouth bass, northern pike, perch and crappie.

Fish Cleaning

We provide a nice enclosed fish cleaning house where you can filet your fish or have our staff filet them for you. For the fish that you wish to take home we will pack and freeze them at no charge.

Fishing Licenses

Minnesota fishing licenses and regulations are available online at  Minnesota Fishing Licenses.

Ontario fishing licenses are available near our resort at Windigo Island, Ontario or Sprague, Manitoba or they are available through the mail by calling the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources at 1-800-667-1940.  Click here for Ontario fishing regulations.
